my work have a habit of ringing on my day off saying to come in... and being im a senior member of the store people give out my phone number to customers so i can sort out there problems on my day off...0 -
well...
it does mean if one battery goes flat you got another phone to use.
If they are the same model you got spares if one develops a fault
If people are on other networks it may be cheaper to call one than the other if they are locked to a (different) network
you can keep one phone free for emergency/priority calls
if on different networks reception may be better on one than the other
however - there is the cost of buying two phones:j0 -

Well you could install call filter software on your phone to divert all unknown numbers to voicemail on your days off.
Personally I would get a new number and NOT give it to work.0 -
well i was looking at a 2nd contract instead of payg.. as i would be topping up about £40 a week0

is it worth have 2 mobile phones simple question

My OH at the moment is suffering with three mobiles, her colleagues apparently had a good tease the other day.
She has one for work calls, one for personal calls and a third PAYG '3' mobile for skype. Her family skype her from overseas on it and she never tops it up. She can't move her personal phone to '3' because she gets a superb 50% off deal on T-Mobile. T-M must have read her mind when she was thinking of leaving because now out of no where they phoned up and said she can submit 4 numbers for unlimited calls and texts without changing her plan at all.
So she's pretty much stuck with 3 mobiles at the moment.0
