A little blond with big boobs.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

    Daniel Defoe: 1725.
  • Ohh! This year I would like to spend it with my OH alone and not be persuaded to entertain people like last year lol.

I've had a little think about stuff as my mum has already asked, so far I have...
    Oil of Olay beauty fluid,
A piggy calender (mum always gets my one)
A new pot for sealed pot challenge 2010

But that's it, not very exciting for a 25 year old!

Hey your list is more exciting than mine, and I'm 25 too

    • A new set of dishes (mine are old and chipped)
    • Some new cultery - I have odd knifes and forks and am down to my last 2 teaspoons (I think OH is eating them), if there is more than 2 of dining then I use DS weaning spoons :rotfl:
    • A nice pair of leather gloves, I have hinted already - if I was to get these for myself I'd probably go to Primark/TK Maxx but I was a posh pair, lol
    • A new going out perfume (not that I ever go anywhere)
    • Sex and the city on DVD - I asked for this for my birthday last year, Christmas last year and my birthday this year - it's only a £4.99!!
    • A 2010 calander
    • Money for a new duvet cover (to get from Debenhams in the Sale - I know not MSE)
(Just realised how big my list is - how demanding am I:eek::eek:)

As it's DS 1st first christmas I would rather people get him than me but i can dream

I can guarantee what I will be receiving

Mum- Versace Red Jeans Perfume, tin of roses and slippers (every year for the past 9 years)
    Dad - Cheque
    Nan - Avon perfume
OH - Overpriced Smellies from Next (He will get them on Christmas Eve at full price - Not very mse!!)
    Brother - Chocolates
    Sister - Smellies
Nieces - Something personalised from out of the Studio Catalogue

Edit **Scrap all of the above the only thing I REALLY want is a Merry Christmas Mum card**

OH didn't get me a Happy Birthday Mum card from DS and I didn't speak to him all day (Harsh I know but I was really upset)

Its my b'day in October and Im getting 2 bottles of perfume then (OH is very predictable. The only gift he has EVER bought me without me knowing was a bottle of Vera Wang Princess perfume when we first started going out 3 years ago - which was very much welcomed. Now I have to choose my own presents ) so for Xmas off him Im getting £200 so I can go and choose a new mobile phone. (My money's on the Blackberry Pearl)
Dont know what Im getting off my mum but no doubt it will be fab. I have everything I really want so whatever I get will be a bonus!

I like the idea of list writing. I'll get to mine for my OH. What I really want is for my eldest to behave - perhaps he needs to be diagnosed with ADHD - but if there was a magic pill that he would take to improve his behaviour I'd have that in a flash!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
  • You give him presents and you don't get anything back? Why? :(

Its my own fault really, every year when he asks what I want for xmas I say nothing, there's nothing I need.

So I get nothing, I think i've had a last minute toiletry set ocassionally lol

The kids are too young to go and get anything for me themselves.
  • That's no excuse, when you say 'there's nothing I need' that's secret code for 'so get me something lovely that I don't need but is gorgeous anyway', every man should know this. When he asks what you want this year, give him a list of luxuries for yourself :) Or don't buy him anything and see how he likes it.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

A bit off subject! but, my favourite Christmas pressie of all time was when my son aged 3 went to the local Chemist with his Auntie and bought me a bottle of nail varnish.
It was the most horrible colour but, he wrapped it himself (which was really just screwed up paper) and I loved it!

This year - tell him you'd like vouchers, then you can keep them and spend them as you need to :T That way you don't feel left out but you still have something as and when you need it!
