i was wondering if there was a way you could CAP your contract phones mobile mins so you couldnt go over what you had or a set amount

I think the short answer is, unless on t mobile U fix no!

yes, you can cap them on three. just ring up and reduce your credit limit to £0

All networks can do it, they just dont want to. Its not in their interest to let a customer cap their spending.
all networks have fraud limits in place where your usage gets to a certain amount and your phone is blocked, why the dont allow the customer to lower it is obvious and ofcom should look in to it.0 -
Even if you cap it in the UK , you will still get caught out if you use it for roaming, which is when the potentially big bills come in.No free lunch, and no free laptop
