Go to the top link and enter.
It will explain how to unlock your phone for free!! the message board is a forum and if you are having trouble getting a code they will help you out.

all unlocking does is let u use any simcard in your phone (o2,vodaphone,orange,t-mobile)

An unlocked phone enables you to use any network sim card in the phone, as it is usually locked onto the network that you buy it on.

These sites will give you a code to put into the phone to change the software settings and enable you to put any sim card in.

The sites above can only give you the code to unlock the phone yourself, usually nokia phones and a few other makes. Sony Ericsson phones usually need to be unlocked with a cable connection and software. The site also ofers a postal unlocking service for most phones that cannot be unlocked by a remote code.
