It will say on the receipt below the item description if it is exempt from the money back guarantee. If it is exempt, it's at the discretion of the manager - they have no obligation to refund the console.

FYI, staff members are supposed to read out any bulletins saying if an item is exempt from the 30 day mbg, but it is not standard company policy to circle it on the receipt (as far as I am aware!).

    Good luck!

if its unopened and seal intact - my local store would prob let you exchange - for games etc - its not their fault so they dont have to refund - but saying that its up to customer service or manager. be polite ask what you can do. they may take it back and let you have the value in goods - just remember - they dont have to do this
  • They don't have to circle it on the reciept. Some stores do that, but it's not a rule or law kinda thing. I personally don't like people writing or drawing all over my reciept so it annoyed me when they tried to circle my order number and waiting time and all the crap.

It does say exempt on the reciept, and it does say it in the catalogue so they don't have to take it back or exchange it. They've covered themselves enough by having it in the book and reciept.

    Just say it's faulty!
