HIPs: advice?

Hi guys,
I am looking to sell a property. I am 'hoping' to compile my own H.I.P. not just for the cost saving, but also for the 'challenge' of doing it.
I have researched it and have a 'good' idea of what needs to go in it, and how it should look and the like. But I was wondering if anyone could offer me a kind of step-by-step guide of how to put one together, along with everything that HAS to be in it, and the places where these things can (and can't) come from (i.e. things that MUST come from a solicitor, things that can be obtained from the land registry etc.)
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
RFTG
p.s. has anyone had success of marketing their own property also? I think it would be a great achievement to complete a full 'D.I.Y. housesale'. (apart the stuff that has to be done by a solicitor)

The answer to everything you’re asking is within ten pages (or so) of threads here.
If you’re that driven as regards achievement, scan down the titles on the pages and have a look!0 -
Ok,
Are you questioning my drive?
Thanks for the heads up... I think.0 -
Maybe I was a bit harsh, but what I’ve said is true. A lot has already been asked and answered on just these topics.

Told a lie – that’s on page 11. Maybe it wasn’t earlier…0
