Tiscali have dropped the price of their monthly broadband package 1mb unlimited service from £14:99 to £12:99 for new and existing customers, offer ends 8th of May.

It it £12.99 a month for the full 12 months?

My sister is looking from broadband as she doesn't have it at present.

This will be perfect for her.

Strange, I'm on the £14.99 a month 512 package and it doesn't give me the £12.99 option.

Give them a call and say that you can get BB cheaper elsewhere, should drop to £9.99 if you have been with them for more than 12 months.

I logged in to my account and there was an option to upgrade, no speed gain or loss for me but £2 cheaper per month!

Very tempting, but am still concerned about the CS. Any thoughts. Phoned BT and was complaining that their BB is not that competive, the girl said I can only spend 2 or 3 hours on 2 mb a day and that does not that sound a lot as I spend about 4 to 5 hours on dial up. I was thinking if she was going to offer me a discount when I said I will go with another provider. I woud rather go with BT but they are not that competive. Thanks

Its true Tiscali CS is a total joke, but I can only judge as I find, and I find Tiscali reliable enough, speeds can fluctuate, but me personally find it great value for money, others will tell you different though, its your decision in the end!

I was looking at this offer as well, thinking of switching from AOL, surely Tiscali can't be any worse than AOL. Do Tiscali make you use their own software for browsing the internet like AOL do?...as that really bugs me, it makes my computer really slow and crashes quite a bit! Plus...£12.99 a month is a lot better than the £24.99 we're currently paying!
