You can download a booklet called "How to Fit Extra TV Points" that will tell you how to do this. http://www.google.com/search?q=%22How+to+Fit+Extra+TV+Points%22

I dont have an aerial cable in the room..thats the whole problem!

Sorry Laurae I don't see how I can help. All suggestions so far have been run a cable to your tv.
If you don't want to that's not possible then I don't see how you expect to get a signal!

OK final suggestion I have. Get a video sender and connect it to the Sky box. It will then send the signal wirelessly to your tv. But you will have to watch whatever is being watched on the skybox downstairs.

Thats it. As any good Dragon would say................... I'm out. :D:D

Since you've already bought the TV, try it with a cheapo (or borrowed) set top aerial first. If that doesn't work you either have to take a feed to the room from the existing external aerial, or a feed from the sat dish and use another Sky box.

I was originally planning on using sky multiroom so wasnt bothered that there is no areial socket in the bedroom.. however..this is gonna work out too expensive because of the installation they want to charge on top of the box and monthly subscription. I know in my mums house, she had an aerial guy come out and had a new aerial socket/cable installed into the front bedroom .. but i dont know how much this would cost down south.

If the existing feed already comes down past or near the bedroom in question, then it's not a very big job. You've spent a few hundred on the TV, so what's the problem in getting an aerial feed that will enable you to use it? Will cost you far less than a year or so's subs to Multiroom.

ok..so looks like the best thing to do is to get a quote for a new aerial cable to be fed into the bedroom?

Thanks everyone for your help xxx
