PAYG and keeping my number

Hi,

I don't want to renew my Vodafone contract and instead use Pay As You Go with that network.

Am I able to keep my phone number if I switch to PAYG?

How do I go about doing this? Do I buy a new sim card and do I need to get the network provider to make the change?

just give them 30 days notice to cancel your contract and ask them to convert your number to PAYT. I've just done exactly the same thing, no problem.
