3 Mobile- ARGH-- RANT!!

Customer service is just getting worse and worse....

Decided to change our tariff to the 6 month plan after someone from 3 called..we were told that it was due on WED 26th just phoned them to let them know I haven't recieved it as yet and waited in for 2 wednesdays for it to arrive only to find out that they cancelled the request after the call.... no- on informed us at all-- however we did have an email to say to tell us of the returns policy!??

After speaking to 4 people one cut us off and the other 3 gave us completely different stories why it was cancelled one of which they said we'd called them to cancel LIE LIE LIE... then to find out they now do not do the 6 month contract!

Don't touch them with a barge poll.. we have had nothing but problems over the past 6-9 months- previous to that the service wasn't too bad- but recently has been terrible! So of course our 3-three phones will be changes to another network very shortly!

    Three are horrible-both in terms of getting a signal and customer service.If I could,I would get them banned !

    On the flip side I've been very happy with 3, great signal and a good deal for what I pay. Get Mobile broadband for a fiver a month as an existing customer too.

    OK, so I avoid calling India, but when I do I usually get my problem sorted, albeit after a bit of a kerfuffle.

    How is signal a problem when your talking about the largest 3g network in the uk backed up by the largest 2g network
  • I'm puzzled when you say you were changing to the 6 month plan. This was never offered as an upgrade, only as a new contract. So unless you planned to cancel your existing contract and take out a brand new one with new phone number you couldn't get the 6 month deal. If that was your plan why didn't you visit your local store? And yes the 6 month offer was withdrawn for new customers on 31 aug
  • three are the worst avoid at all costs they may be cheaper but they are rubbish so you will not get your moneys worth even if it was 1p a year avoid
  • i was with three and i could not get a signal in large areas in the country i travel around the country often i know first hand there figures are calculated in population not area! so yes maybe they claim to have coverage but a few million in say london birmingham liverpool glasgow per head but not many square square miles the rest of the coverage to the rest of the country is poor and i have downloaded a coverage map that says i can receive 3g internet and all however i am unable to even make a phone call!!!!!! that is fact.

    On their website,they make all kinds of claims about how good their coverage is.Problem is that in reality,it is awful.I have had problems in some areas even in cities like Leeds,Bradford,Leicester and London .
