They can't just take money out of your bank account - so if they've not asked you to send the money back to them they'll just adjust it on your next pay packet0

Although they can put your wages into the bank, they cannot take money out of your bank account.

Doesnt that depend on how they have made it? , i made a payment using the fastpay system ,it was wrong, and i couldnt recall itVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

its Jackson building centres they use the payroll system foned them up earlier today and they say that they have taken it out and that they did this 3 days ago and its still there lol.
i was on a tempory contract and that has now come to a end so not working there no more0 -
They can ask you to repay it and if you don't they can take you to court.0

Have you check your terms of employment/contract? Usually it would say that any overpayments of pay have to be paid back.0

If they say they've taken it but you can still see then some other poor sod may be £904 out of pocket .... hope its not me (you don't bank with Natwest I hope!!!)0
