If it's in your bank then it's your money.

Spend away and if thy say anything just tell them - if they snooze, they lose.

Laim, do you think you are entitled to it ? do you think your employers wouldnt mind Liam having an extra £904 ?

You may be able to answer this one yourself and not get the grief which would follow if you did treat the money as your own, tempting, but not worth the aggro which will follow.

    Erm no?

OP. If you have been overpaid then you owe this money back. Its not rightfully yours.

If you cannot afford to pay it back next week, ask for a payment plan be set up.

Haha no. Put a smiley at the end (this one is good ), thats what I do :D
  • Are you sure its an overpayment and not a tax rebate? Twice in my life I've been fortunate enough to benefit from mysteriously inflated pay packets. The joys of temporary employment!!

think of it this way if its not yours and you dont give it back, which you could give a cheque they will look at other ways

Fair enough. What sort of company do you work for? Is it a big one with centralised payroll or a small one where this can be sorted out with a cheque or by talking to your manager?
