  • Thought I would update this, I got a letter off to LLoyds, giving them 2 weeks to give me a decision other wise i would be contacting the FOS, they never bothered to reply, so on the 14th Oct I contacted the FOS, and the claim is being started.
Then this morning I receive a letter from LLoyds refusing my claims, and how well trained all LLoyds staff are!!! Then further reading they state I can cancel the PPI and receive rebate od approx £283.77, but as i'm such a wonderful person they will backdate it when I started the calim in July therefore they will rebate me approx £1095!

I'll be honest i'm not 100% sure if I should take the money and run, or stick to my guns and let the FOS do what they do?

    cheers

    Follow your instincts here Si.

How much do you think you would be losing out on, compared to the offer?

  • Thought I would update this, received a letter from the FOS yesterday, LLoyds TSB, have decided that I was mis-sold the ppi and will be replaying the PPI back + 8%.

So yes it is worth sticking to your guns

    cheers for the help

    Hi Si

That is great news, well done.:T:beer:

I was not happy with 2 recent decisions on 2 loan ppi's by LLoyds with the offers, I wrote back to them a few weeks back, they missed out many of the reasons, and did not give any findings on them, made a few mistakes, it was the final and only decision as well, but despite that I wrote back and told them straight, they have now overturned and reviewed the letter I sent and still waiting now for the updated letters on this, was told they would be with us any day now.
However, they have kept in touch by email to keep us posted on the progress of this matter.
It does pay to give it another go, well done to you anyway.
