Not full HD, still a bargain0

Looks like the price drop is is intended dab have it for under £600 I think this is to to dump the older plasma motherglass into entry level plasma sets. Still its 100Hz and the upscaler on this seems to get great reviews
.
A good price for a 50" plasma, even better from a top manufacturer.
This model is the C10 not the X10 it has is fewer connections (2 HDMI, no VGA), no SD card and no anti-reflective filter. This last one is the one most people notice consider is yours in a bright room with windows reflecting in the TV panel?
If you are not planning to use the full HD features then it might be worth considering. However for screens larger than 42" the lack of 1080p might be an issue.
The C10 is a entry level but new model Plasma tv. The screen is (very) reflective, consider the TX-P50X10B which has more inputs and an anti-reflective screen for about £50 more list.
Can anyone post a review of this?
Looks good thanks OPSeth.0 -
Even the new models are quite reflective (Neo Peps)0

Now showing full price for me (was showing £499 last night). Clearly a pricing error that they've now picked up?0

Was £499 before 8am but checked now and the price is back up and the money off text has gone. Dabs and others have it for £560ish.
Its hard to sell kit that is no full HD nowSeth.0 -

Thanks for that, I ordered one of these last night and the issue about being reflective worried me. But if it's typical of many, then it's what we may have gotten with any plasma. We generally don't watch TV in the daytime, but sometimes we have it on at 6 or 7pm and it's still daylight. As long as it's not worse than our current CRT tv, we probably won't be bothered.0 -

If you have a CRT I think you will be please with it. The contrast is excellent on plasma, and the reflection you will see will be less as the screen is flat Vs the curves screen on CRTs.
The Standard definition upscaler on the Panasonic is very good, and the Freeview tuner is also very good quality.
I´ve seen the new 100Hz video processing but I´m sure this will be excellent. Panasonic and LG have been competing a lot.
Don´t let the price fool you into thinking you have a low quality set. The credit crunch and the fact that a lot of people have flat screen TVs has forced manufacturers to lower prices, and offer much more value.
The competition is really strong, and this TV has a lot of new features!
Good spot OPSeth.0 -
