Panasonic 50 Inch TV wrongly priced due to a coding problem on the Currysdigital website. Price will come up as £699,00 but will jump to £499.00 at times due to this problem and will change when you click "more info". If you ring the 08445 61 62 63 number and complain that you where going through the "basket" and the price hopped, currys will honour the 499.00 price. I phoned my local currys to confirm and staff in store get the 499.00 price up aswell but won't have it in stock. It is only for free home delivery. I am getting mine delivered on wedneday. £200.00 for meeeeee

Been through whole check out and price stays at £499 the whole time, didnt even see £699
Seems to me i could have bought it for £499 there and then, not a bad price at all
though i'm happy with my Toshiba 42" 1080p

Don't think it's an error either0

Still looks a good deal for a 50" plasma.

If so, I think it is already obsolete. Especially if you have a huge 50" screen, you want the full resolution.0 -
PC World sell these for £699 so if you can prove Currys are selling these for £499 their price promise means you will get it price matched plus a further 10% of equal to the difference in price off the set. I think anyway, perhaps someone else will be able to confirm this0

I know this is a rather old complaint - but I assume it is 720p? At least nowhere does it mention in the specification anything that could be interpreted as 1080p or Full HD.

I've got this tv and it is excellent. It may not be 1080p, but in HD and on bluray it is excellent to the untrained eye.
£500 is a bargain0
