    So did you try my advice in post #2 and just download them and watch after they are fully downloaded? Saves all the hassle and proxy suggestions...

    So far there has not been any reoccurence for Music Videos I use Vodpod
    there is basic software called Tubesucker thats quite good thats free.

    I guess it depends which videos you watch on YouTube surprisely its not always the Videos with a high number of hits but the low hits ones that are slow and prone to Pauses.
