can anyone tell me what these spring into action vouchers are??
    Just about to give up!

Are you saying it's possible to use these sping in to action vouchers against any purchase in Tesco? Even an ipod?
I suppose they can claim from the issuer against a separate purchase where a voucher could have ben used but wasn't. That's a bit cheeky!
    Yep & yep!

I bought my iPod at customer services as there were none on display, and they had no problems with using vouchers whatsoever.

I don't think it's cheeky - it's using widely understood Tesco Policy, and I think you're right - they reclaim from the orignator.

There is another thread if you do a search, but for info:
    http://www.springintoaction.com/coupon.php

This is not the only voucher available right now, and there are frequent alternatives reported on the discounts & vouchres forum. I'd watch that forum if these types of vouchers interest you.
So many glitches, so little time...

Just picked up a 1gb ipod shuffle from Newcastle Tesco, no sign up to say 999 points offer, but sales assistant to scan and check and it is fine. Great post thanks.

Rang my local store today in Stockport and they denied all knowledge of the deal even though I insisted they tried it on the till. Went down to buy one anyway and when I had bought it I got the 999 points. Staff at Tesco don't know what they are talking about.
