The contract would have been verbal if over the phone. Oh and if you didnt pay the bill, They will pass it to debt collection, Who will trash your credit rating, Thus shooting yourself in the foot.0

Does anybody have a UK contact phone number for VM...
Thanks0 -
They did the same to me last year when I agreed to stay with them. I called and was told I was in contract since I'd signed for another year, after I pointed out I didn't sign a thing they said the verbal contract was made over the phone. I said, yes, a phone call that was, as I was told when I called, recorded for training purposes, so please play that back and we can see what the contract was that I agreed to.
Operator said they don't keep the recordings, but she'd speak to her manager. Oddly enough ten minutes later she was back telling me they'd agree to the original deal as a good will gesture.
I assume, since they've not got your signature on anything they'll have kept the phone call recordings, since otherwise they have zero proof of any contract at all.Sigless0 -
if you use the services, this implies you accepted the contract. i think you are stuck unless you can get someone else to take up the remainder. early disconnect fees are the same as your remaining contract. sorry for the bad news.0
