Nuther nsd - glad of that

Very stressfull at work today so came home after work and vegged out in front of i-player soaps, eating crisps and biscuits - instead of going for a swim - would have been better swimming and using my gym membership and NOT stuffing my face with carp.

Going to Tai-chi tomorrow so that will use my membership

    Roll on week end.

Had the sore throat from hell the last few days so have been fighting it off with manuka honey and lemon. Had a few very early nights and slept round the clock last night 8pm till 9am this morning:eek:

DH is wondering if he's in for a day or so peace if I lose my voice like it keeps threatening lol.

Didn't stick to meal plan cos needed something soft and tasty last night for tea - but made batch of curry - enough for last night and a few in the freezer too - so not too bad mse wise :D. I did buy naan and bahji bits for dh (can't stand them myself) - keep threatening to make my own but I've never got round to it yet - are they easy?

All going to more or less to plan at mo though so can't be too bad - but makes for a boring diary :o LOL LOL

As I went to Tai Chi on Thursday - I booked a session for re-training at gym as I haven't been in succchhh a looooonnnng time decided I needed a new programme and to be reunited with the torture - whoops - meant to say fitness equipment. Went to gym tonight - was booked in with instructor but as I got there was told the person I was booked with finished work at 5.30 - the time I'd booked my appointment and they had left a message on my home phone - not a lot of use when I went straight from work - I was not impressed

So just did a stint on treadmill, bike and rowing machine - all on easy settings - suppose it was better than nothing.

Nuther NSD - making 10 this month - 4 to go to reach my target.

Well done on the NSDs ..they are mounting up.
Kids ..they do say the funniest things.
My DGS came out with a cracker the other week...he said "What is that plaster on your arm Grandma?"....I said "it's to stop Grandma having a cigarette as cigarettes are bad for you and can make you really ill"
His reply was "Well grandma I'm going to smoke when I grow up!!!"
I then said...."NO, Don't do that it's a dirty habit and grandma should never have smoked in the 1st place"
He then said "Well I have to start smoking so that I can have a patch to stop smoking!!!"
HOW DO I ANSWER THAT ONE>>LOL?

Not a lot you can say to that one Taxi - how old is he?

Didn't manage a nsd today ended up having to buy some bits from chemist near work - I OBJECT spending money on lady essentials that men just don't have to bother with!!!!!!!! - then because I was out I bought a tub of salad and bag of crisps from deli - so a fiver down the swannee - I did enjoy the salad though and its the first buy over a dinner time in nearly 3 weeks.

Had no internet connection for best part of a week and I've felt like my right arm has been missing lol.

MSE - totally blew it this week. Haven't totalled how much I've spent - been to butty shop nearly every day this week. Had another  birthday so used it as a bit of an excuse to get out and about and 'treat' myself to all manner of junk

Plus really bad week at work and needed to get out of building for a break cos there seems to be a meeting of some sort virtually every day - if we're in we are expected to attend - lunchbreak or not!! Out of 7 days I'd had a meeting 5 dinnertimes and don't get any other breaks - have always had proper breaks everywhere else I've worked..... ARRRGGGHHHH - it can't be right working full time in charge of kids some with serious disabilities and health issues and no break ...I can feel myself getting wound up about it again :mad:

Got to go for blood tests in morning following trip to see doc after routine smear test. Went last week expecting a packet of hormone tablets or similar - ended up having examination - inside and out :o Scan and bloodtests ordered and talk of wanting 'to avoid' surgery - I couldn't agree with doc more  just wish sometimes they would keep some of their thoughts to themselves until they know for sure what the prob is  I'll be wondering now for next week or so till results are through and bet it is only an age thing :rotfl:

Went to gym for new programme tonight - have put weight and inches on and was totally wiped out after fitness test - LOTS of work to do to get back into shape - once birthday chocs :D have gone will re establish some healthy(er) eating and exercise habits that have seriously slipped. Heres to doing better all round
