Best buys for a new TV - around 32" or above?

Can anyone recommend a best buy for a flat screen TV with freeview and dvd player - it is for my mum and it would need to be from a recognised brand and store, rather than the cheapest deal.

Sorry I cant post the link, but have a look on Amazon for the Toshiba Regza 32AV615DB. Better than any cheapo brand. Should be around £300.

John Lewis doing an LG 32" with built in freesat and a free DVD/home cinema thing thrown in. five year guarantee etc all for £599 - a cheaper price than just the TV at curys/comet etc.
