It's a M Shyamalan (sp?) film - it's always obvious from about halfway through that the film is not what it seems and the ending will be always be a disappointment.
I mean, how long did it take you to work out that the guy was dead in the sixth sense? 15, 20 mins at most surely?
I must admit, I didn't get the village quite right - I thought they were a bunch of criminals who had hidden themselves away so they didn't get caught, but still in modern times IYWIM.
It's only a game

I did pick 'the village' pretty quickly, and 6th sense for that matter. One of the few films I've seen where the plot twist was totally unexpected was the brilliant Nicole Kidman in 'The Others'
Spoiler be here for those who cant be bothered to watch but want to know the twist......**highlight**
Nicole Kidman plays a mum in the 1940's, her husband is at war and she is convinced her ancestral home is haunted. The movie goes through all the hauntings and the terrors of the mum and her children, only to reveal at the end that its actually them that are dead.....

You know Zazen, you really should get out more
I've been to New York myself [lots of times], I just don't watch TV or mainstream films.
I haven't got the faintest who Mr Staypuft or Slimer is.
I'm more into foreign films with subtitles; but I have seen Fight Club many many times.
[And I'm perfectly happy with that
