Was in Asda in hulme today ( needed the toilet ) and saw 24 Brahmas for 10 squidleys right at the front of the store.
I have vowed in the past not to buy from Asda so I ignored their tempting apple and continued on my merry way having peed on their ill-stocked and badly run emporium.
However during my lonely run up the M61 I regretted my choice not to sin so I called into the Reebok to make amends. AARRGGHHH they had none so I had to buy Carlsberg with a free glass which is really nice and I will be very upset when it smashes.
So some stores have it and some don`t.
I still have not tasted it.

Brahama beer is great stuff. I travel to Brazil twice a year and it's one of the best beers there - any with 170 million Brazilians in a hot country.... believe me they know how to make a good beer.
I have 5 cases ready for my summer BBQ - all bought from Morrisons @ £5 for 12.

I'm going to try some of this. Sounds promising.
Unlike Carlsberg, which is filth.Happy chappy0 -

But this glass is superb..I kid you notS!!!!horpe0 -
If they were giving away a jewel encrusted Gold tankard then I'd have to think of something to do with the Carlsberg. It's probably "brewed" by Bulmers in Somerset or Intrebrew at Reading. Really, the range of nasty lagers that we suffer in this coutry is appalling, considering how good decent lager is.Happy chappy0

I do enjoy a nice bottle of Cobra beer, why carn't we have this on tap instead of the the eggy gassy lager we have...0

What is a decent lager then? not being argumentative or anything. but me and my pal had this conversation on saturday. I drink bitter as a rule and the answer I gave my lager drinking friend floored him, and he had to agreeS!!!!horpe0

What is a good lager?
Well, if it makes me go "oooohhhh that's gooooood" then I rate it.
For example, from Pilsner Urquel, Bitteburger, Tiger beer, Budvar Budweiser (the Czech stuff), Paulaner.
I love bitter too. Same thing - should make me go "oooohhh that's good".
London Pride is my default beer. I also like Circle Master, Hopback beers. I actually rate Tanglefoot at the moment. Hobgoblin.
In the lake district I drank some Timothy Taylor's Landlord beer and that was "oh oh oh oh" beer. Also some local brew Taplap or something like that.Happy chappy0 -
One which isn't so gassy that it leaves you bloated after two pints...0

dazco, what was your answer exactly?
a good lager for me is one that i'll pay that bit extra for:
Warsteiner, Ostravar, Krusovice, Erdinger, Budvar, Gambrinus.
Generally German/Czech stuff, as long as it's brewed for domestic consumption i.e not something they brew here as well a la stellaThe word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
