K850i Power switch fault!!!

I hope that somebody can help me.
I have as the title states a Sony Ericsson K850i and the power switch has gone on it.
To cut a long story short, my friend tried to replace the broken screen on it and in the process has somehow mangled the on/off switch!!!!
Does anyone know if it can be repaired and if so, how much.
