  • My previous Insurers were RAC and i couldnt fault them. They even had a free fone number, Why did i change, i agree its worth a few extra quid for the service. I definately wont be changed electricity suppliers, i cant fault mine, its a free fone number again and theve been polite and helpful ever since i moved here. My PAYG phone i wont be changing either as i cant beat what ive got, minutes and txt wise. I wont be changing my House Insurance as all the other companies couldnt match what i pay and again thats a free fone number. The only thing i would consider changing is my bank, but after the palava ive had with sky and hsbc car insurance ide rather have a paultry interest rate and just transfer the money i have left over after my bills are paid to my isa myself each month as the bank accounts hsbc anyway and i dont trust anyone to mess about with my wages, etc etc. My water is on a meter and cheap as im very careful with it anyway. The only money i could possibly save is by trading in my 1.8si old convertible for a 1.3new car but i cant make myself do it even tho ide probably save a fortune on petrol, tax, insurance and running costs. I just cant give it up. Saving money just wont be the same without my cabbie lol

You may find that next year the RAC will ring you to try to get you back. You may have a bit of bargaining leeway there. I was going to swap my AA roadside cover to the RAC for a cheap first timers price and quidco. But when I rung the AA to cancel, they matched the RAC price. And as I was happy with the AA I stayed with them.
So it may save you money eventually.

  • Hopefully, ile try that next year. As for changing my line rental from BT to SKY im not..... SKY gave me the wrong advise and didnt know what they were doing. So luckily i didnt tell BT to cancel until the 8/9 but ive rung them and said disregard this and then i rang SKY and told them i dont want there line rental and to leave things as they are. Ile wait and see what happens, it cant be as simple as telling them that, so we shall see.
