Hmm my brother has had good CS from them. When his phone was broke (one button) they repaired it and we had it back within 48 hours of it being taken. Same when he got his new phone. I've just signed up with them (1 month ago), no problems so far. There's no 3G signal in my house, but that's not a bit problem.0

download the coverage map and see if you should have 3g its on the 3 website if you do not have coverage you are paying for something you are not getting!0

I've been with 3 now for about 4 years and think they are great. I was with O2 before and Orange before that and I had so many problems with those networks. 3's always been good to me, the Tarriff's are cheap and the customer service has always been great for when i've had a problem. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Couldn't agree more, Three are the worst phone company I have ever used by a long long way. As soon as I could cancel my contract with them I did but then they sent me letters saying I had £307 outstanding on my account, when I eventually spoke to someone who I could understand and they could understand me I asked them to send me a full account statement detailing all my payments and where the £307 had come from, when this eventually came through it showed an outstanding balance of 0.00p. I'm with o2 now and they are the best phone company I have used. Hated Orange as well.If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

This sounds so familiar, after 16mths of hell, 3 have finally agreed to cancel our mobile contracts(3in total) and we are fighting to have the mobile broadband terminated as it is unusable within our house and garden(they claim to use different masts for broadband, although the mobile disconnections manager told us different today)
We got lured in by low cost good looking packages but have been unable to use all the features as the signal coverage(they claim good) is worse than useless.
As for dialing 333 and talking to someone in India, there is nothing more frustrating than having to repeat yourself several times because the operative is using there second language and reading from a pre determined script.
I would love to have one of the cards the operatives read from just to see what the response would be if i had given a different answer each time id called.
We are now going back to o2 and are hoping the service will be as good as it was previous to us leaving, its just a shame we cant get our money back from the waste of space that call them selves the network built for the internet.0 -
Quite hilarious really, where I work, only o2 & Vodaphone have a good coverage. I signed-up to '3' as they have the best network coverage for mobile bb in Colchester by far (unlike T-mobile), however, I can't get a decent signal in Earls Colne. I have been told that when they find an area with bad coverage, they erect a mast, and that I will be entitled to compensation for all of the days that I was unable to m,ake/receive calls.
I will be emailing '3' to claim this compensation.Never Knowingly Understood.

I have been with 3 for approx 5 years and complained about the reception or lack of. They keep promising me better deals, one is now they've hooked up with orange. This was at the time I was deciding whether to or not renew my 18 month contract.
Sadly I did and upgraded my phone. 3 months later it's in carphone warehouse for repairs as a big thick black line appears across the phone so cannot see the menu display. Also, the phone gets very hot after speaking on it for 3 mins (not healthy).
I have since being bombarded by 3 with phonecalls saying how they can help but as I renewed my contract they can't. So what was the purpose of the phonecall??
I will NOT be renewing my contract with 3 but sadly I am stuck with them until Nov 2010.0 -
Thanks for your well thought out, beautifully constructed and invaluable advice.0
