Warning do not use three mobile warning

I have had so much trouble with this company i am pulling my hair out !!!! And if you google trouble with three you will see no end to people with the same problem ! There service is useless no one is able to call me due to no signal or a message saying that the phone is not in use, i have spoken to the call center in india and every time you get no action i have downloaded a map with network coverage however i am supposed to be able to have internet and all service's but i am even unable to make a call! I am unable to acces the internet due to it crashing, whilst driving hands free! When you do have a signal it seems unable to move from one arial to another without cutting you off. They have altered my contract without my knowledge thus incresing my bill by £10 a month !!!!!!!!!! And say i cannot do anything about it due to small print! This is only a few problems and i have spent hours talking to the call center every time you call you have to explain every thing again it is relentless they must receive so many complaints that they have even taken away the e mail link on the website so you can only phone them up and when you phone you have to be mastermind to actualy get through to talk to someone without getting pushed from one message to another and then you get cut off and have to go through it all again!! Warning warning warning warning do not use three!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I warned my hubby not to go with them, however he did it anyway and has grown to hate them very quickly:eek:

    They are a horrendous company to deal with and he will never go with them again.

    I would agree, I used to be with them and ran into lots of problems with Network coverage, and phone always giving the "not in use" type message.

    I called them, struggled with their delightful staff. (Couldn't understand a word they were saying - don't get me wrong, they can speak better English than I can speak Indian!)

    Eventually, I gave up, and emailed the Chairmans office - and got a resolution within a few days!! [EMAIL="Executive.Office@three.co.uk"]Executive.Office@three.co.uk[/EMAIL]
  • I'd just like to say that I have been with 3 for quite some time, and had very few problems at all, and when I have the Indian staff have always been great. OK, sometimes I might need to repeat things or ask again, but at least they have know what they are doing. As an aside, the often have a 'do you want to participate in a CS survey' thing when you call, and I always say yes, just incase the CSR can see that I am going to be slating them if they do a bad job ;)

    I know it might sound like I work for them, but I don't ;)

    I have previously been with T-Mobile and Orange and left both of those through bad CS.

    Are you aware if it is the phone or the network? have you tried the sim in another phone perhaps?

    The increase of £10 a month sound exceptionally odd, do you have any more details?

    Three are horrible-I have had Indian call centres and some of them actually speak good english but no one can resolve any problems and getting a signal is a nightmare.Avoid !

    the reason for the incured expense was due to my contract being altered this was a change from per second billing to per minute i/e x4 calls would have cost me 1 min now becomes four minutes out of my allowance! this being a significant change especialy as i am always loosing conection due to very bad coverage so due to the poor coverage by three mobile i may lose connection then to phone back again just to tell whoever i got cut off from if even only taking 10 seconds takes 1 minute from my allowance! this was altered without my knowledge infact the reason that made me go with them in the first place was for the per second billing and to have my contract changed not long after i signed up was very annoying for all i know they may have had a clause to say they could have doubled my bill or taken away minutes, actually this did costs me minutes!! i was stupid enough to take out two contracts so i have two phones two sim cards both have poor signal some times it says you have signal but when you try to call you have none!! both phones seem to jam up when you are unable to make a call due to poor signal (this is a common complaint with three mobile and i have seen many people saying this on the web) as i have two different phones one nokia n95 8gb one erikson k850i both top of range when contract taken out both have there own sim cards both jam up only when they have no signal and you try to make a call so i would like to say are both of the phone manufactures to blame or is it something to do with three mobile poor coverage? i can say that the indian call center staff are polite however they are or seem to be unable to do a thing about problems they are just a front to frustrate you when you do have an issue maybe for arranging repair or paying a bill no problem but they say no one can call you back and you never get through top the same person then you have to explain all again and still no result the only way to resolve a problen is to call ofcom (020 79813040) you may be luky possibly near a mast however i have had nothing but trouble from start to finnish with this (my thoughts only) worst mobile phone provider ever in the history of modern earth is THREE MOBILE avoid avoid avoid they are even worse than my grammer and spelling!!!!!!!!!!!

    3 mobile are a horrible company to have to deal with. I cancelled my usb mobile broadband as they suddenly (with no warning) started to deduct more money than I authorised and signed up to each month. They refused to cancel my account, even though they had broken the terms of the contract. It took from october last year to may this year to actually get it stopped finally. But only becuase I cancelled the direct debit. They harrassed me by phone (I use a different provider) and don't often speak clear english and pretend to not understand. They sent me numerous threatening lettes. So I paid up just to shut them up. They seem to have gone away now, but I am making sure all the people I network with, are well aware NOT to use them ever. So they may think they've made a few hundred pounds from me, they are losing thousands from me advising friends of my experience of them.

    They should be avoided at all costs.

    They are basically blackmailing thieves, which is not a slur I cannot backup. If I had a few thousand to spare then I would take them to court.

    I could have written that. I had exactly the same problem that went on for months. 3 really are the most evil company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

    I agree, have just come out of my 18 month contract with them and am amazed at the amount of attention they are now paying me compared to when I was with them and had real problems! Their 'customer retention' department must have twice as many staff as their 'customer service' department!!

    I had problems relating to a bill they overcharged me (was in States for 5 days, came back to £200 bill, lots of listed calls to Hawaii, Canada etc that I didn't make) but they didn't apply the credit so referred it to their collections department who cut me off 3 times and wouldn't listen to my explanation. I decided there and then that I would not be renewing with them, no matter what they offered me to stay!!
