So your old Boss was a thief? As supagard and its many variants are invisible when applied, I'd be very dubious of a £100 treatment. My old boss had a threshhold cost of £200 and if it was negotiated below that, all the new car got was an extra sweep over with the chamois.
Much better to wash and wax your car regularly and you will see dings and chips that need attention.
At the end of the day the stuff costs £15-£20.0 -

God, are you still here? I'm asking a question about applying a specific brand of car sealant, I'm not here for a battle of wits with someone called Pew Pew Lasers. So if you've got nothing useful to contribute then just what are playing at? Do your feelings of inadequacy run that deep that you need to lurk around car maintenance forums looking for opportunities to display what you imagine to be your devastating intellect? The really tragic thing is you're not even very good at it. Your sideboard/fridge putdown was frankly just weird and in your other posts you've just come across as sad, needy, pompous, whiny, little man rather than the latter day Oscar Wilde you clearly see yourself to be. Seriously pal, get some fresh air, this isn't healthy - 1,500 pointless, sneering posts. Go outside, you might actually meet a real person, someone who makes you feel confident enough to treat like an equal, someone who don't need to put down to validate your own crushing feelings of self-loathing.0 -
Andylea, it really shows that you're new here! There are a truckload of pious individuals floating around. Usually they pass judgement on those who are heavily in debt and facing respossession, it's a rarity to find one in the motoring forum. Best to ignore."The only man who makes money from a gold rush is the one selling the shovels..."0

Yeah, you're dead right. He just riled me. I'd looked at some of his other posts and he just seems to hang around various forums randomly sneering at people from the safety of his own living room. Something bad must have happened to him somewhere. Anyway, deep breath. Must ignore the freaks from now on.0 -
We went to look at a Ford Ka at the dealership today and was quoted for a Zetech, the price for the kit for doing the car was £249.99.
Told them politely that i wouldnt be requiring one, but also told them that it was a rip off. I think they were a little surprised.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

I'm wondering if you're aware that I give a !!!! about your opinion of me. My first post wasn't a put-down, it was stating a fact.
Feel free to spout more !!!!!!!! though, its quite amusing.0 -
Bought a Corsa today and haggled them down to £125 to do it.
I thought that was a pretty reasonable price.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

As has been said, this stuff is so cheap to buy, and easy to do yourself. I dont know about the sponge, but the stuff I have used comes in 2 bottles and is dead easy to use. Just wash and dry car, then cover the car in bottle 1, once it has dried, put on bottle 2 as if it was normal wax, leave for a hour, then buff off. To be honest, if you were going to pay anything over £50 for it, you would be better off getting a GOOD quality wax like zanio or zymol (not the stuff they sell in hellfords) as it would last longer and give it better protection (in my opinion).“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
