What should I do??

I'm currently on Vodafone Anytime 100 at £15.00 per month which includes a £3.00 extra pack whatever that may be! I'm on about month 15 of the contract so can cancel. I generally pay a bill between £15 and £16 and usually use all my minutes up (on average, since 100 roll to next month).

I'm going abroad for six months - should I cancel this contract or "suspend" it (what does this mean anyway?) as a friend suggested?

As you'll probably guess, I haven't kept up with mobile prices etc., however seems 100mins a month (cross-network) on average is the right amount for me.

I paid £100 for a Sony T610 when I started the contract, if that's relevant. Bought off Vodafone website.

I would cancel unless you really want to hold onto your number. Then you can get a good deal when you come back from travelling

Move the number to Pay as You Go for the period you're away. When you get back you can decide on who to have a contract with, based on offers available at the time. If you choose another network, then you would simply obtain the PAC code code from your current network provider and simply port your number to the new network.
