Our Primary School Board usually buy pens for the children that are leaving to go to High School so I thought this would be ideal so ordered 30 of them from their website with delivery supposed to be last night. This the first time I have ever used Tesco Home shopping and needless to say, just my luck, nothing turned up and my teenage son had waited in all night for them.

I phoned the helpline from their website to find out what happened only to be told someone should have called me from the store to let me know if there was a problem, which they hadn't.

The girl rearranged delivery between 1.00 and 3.00 today and my dh called me at 12.45 to say they have only delivered 17 and a note saying the other 13 are unavailable.

So I have called the helpline again, to explain my dilemna - we either need all of them or none of them and can they do anything to help. Would they be able to get them from elsewhere?

He put me on hold while he spoke to the store and then came back and said someone would call me straight back from the store so we can sort it out. Needless to say, no-none has called yet, but then I suppose it is only an hour since I called.

Is it me? Am I just unlucky or are Tesco home shopping usually this bad? You know what they say aobut first impressions!!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi If you don't hear anything contact someone higher up as it's very bad. They should also refund delivery at least if they failed to turn up. Push them as it's for charity anyway.

    good luck

Thanks for your support. Still haven't had a phone call from them. I think they must be trying to avoid me.

The RRP for Jotters is £6.99!
Although Parker pen are changing packaging slightly, so it's likely that Tesco are clearing old stock.

On an interesting note, this is not authorised by Parkers, but Tesco will force them to foot the cost of this sell off!!

The shelf ticket was displaying a price of 74p in Tesco, Gateshead but they were out of stock on Saturday. It's an item like razors and electric toothbrushes where the real profit is made in the sale of refill catridges.

Well done, as He did not have to sell them to you at all, even if they are correctly/incorrectly priced.
