Nokia 3250 - Advice Seeked! (Orange)
Dear MSE's,
I am seeking advice about the Nokia 3250 on an Orange contract.
My current contract with Orange has expired - Samsung D500, 12 month contract, 120 Anytime Minutes, 250 Text Messages per month. All this cost was £25 p/m, +£5 for Orange Care (£30 p/m in total). I have never defaulted on a payment, althought I have had bills as high as £50 at times.
I was tempted to go for the deal listed in the One Compare website (http://www.onecompare.com/mobile-pho...als~nokia-3250), but was worried that I'd lose my mobile phone number and my one year loyalty to Orange. What can I say, Orange have reeled me in with their motto "Relationships get better with time"!
The Sales Representative which I got from dialing 150, option 4 then option 1 firstly told me Orange aren't doing the Nokia 3250. I phoned again, and the Representative told me they are doing the Nokia 3250, they just haven't got a review of it yet.
Hopefully you should have all the relevant information to evaluate what I need to do next. I wonder if you could offer your expertise to me? What should I do, wait til next month (May 2006) to let Orange upgrade me to it, with a possible phone fee added, OR, go to One Compare, get the phone there, new number, new contract, end my old contract but end up with a lesser inclusive minutes and text contract? I really don't know what to do! 02 have a really good offer on, but I honestly think Orange is the best network (the only network I've ever been on), closely followed by 02 and Vodafone...
Any feedback would be great and appreciated,
Kizer.

hm, oranges selection of phones leaves a lot to be desired.
you are aware that you have the right to "port" your number to another network-so dont worry about losing your number
orange ARE a great network though.
go into the carphone warehouse and speak to one of their upgrade advisors-they should be able to do you a deal which would be as good as your current one as well as advising you on your new handset and number porting.
hope this helpsThe word is BOUGHT, not BROUGHT.
It's LOSE, NOT LOOSE.
You ask for ADVICE not ADVISE.0
