How to block contact details on lost pay as u go phone?
my friend lost their pay as you go phone, and the finder is texting his contacts saying abusive things, sometimes in the middle of the night. Some of the things sent to family members have been very upsetting.
Is it possible to block a pay as you go sim card? not sure if the contact list is saved to the phone though. Or do we just have to wait until it runs out of credit? I can't believe someone gets kicks out of texting the things they are.

Are you sure they don't know the person who has it? Seems a bit random...
Anyway, ring the network and report it as lost. They'll cancel the sim and block the phone from being used. The person will still be able to access the numbers I think, but won't be able to text from that phone or sim.0 -
if the phone is active then why not use one of the websites that trace the phone location and "have a word", at very least texting back their location should scare the txter0
