Being the sad cow I am, I've just been looking at house prices in Leeds. You could get 10 3 bed houses in a reasonable area for what you'd pay in rent in a year on that one!
Snaggles, the only bad things are ones that hurt people and aren't fun, so I imagine that it was very good things you did!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Warning serious property !!!!!!
I've walked past it on the way to Earls Court before. It's inside the charging zone and gets very busy.

Well its not unusual around here to see stuff for up to £3,000 a week but £15,000 is just stupid - who has that kind of money a week
Its nearly £800,000 a year - in rent!!!
If it is £15m to buy, then it's only a yield of about 5%.
It may just be covering an interest-only mortgage."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I'm inside the charging zone too - but seriously you do not need a car here so that solves one problem...
There are a few for rent and/or sale - I suspect they would prefer to sell, but while the market round here is okay those huge places are sloooow to shift so renting it makes sense rather than it being empty I guess...0 -
Much better Beanie. Room enough for all of us
