I'm not going to stress over it, & I do get where you're coming from & quite agree about having a whole heart of hate if that were the case. Imagine having a younger, thinner, prettier, richer DD with an even younger one catching up too  I didnt mean that she was jealous of how I look ( certainly nothing to be jealous of) more that because I am more 'feminine' in my appearance, that the guys there do respond to that & perhaps her solid & steady work ethic & contribution has been overlooked recently.
Could be menopausal ? Who knows ?
Not my problem really, I just rock up, do my work, secretly lech at far younger & way unsuitable men then go home again0 -
Wow,that has to have been one of my most productive weekends yet
On saturday the glorious weather gods & goddesses were kind & allowed me to get all my washing done without a drop of rain spilt :T. I achieved the unthinkable & finished all the ironing too so had no laundry at all to be done this morning which was odd but also very liberating. I managed to sleep in until about 8.30 & then got up to do my chores; hoovered everywhere, washed the doors, frames & then all the floors. I also cleaned the bathroom, e-clothed all the mirrors & we then headed to the allotment, where I had a bit of revelation ...
I spent a very happy couple of hours liberating the currant bushes & strawberry plants from the weeds & realised that I do enjoy working on the fruit & herbs plot when the Goblin is not there giving out orders. I'm not prepared to give up the allotment - there's a lengthy waiting list - because she makes me feel uncomfortable & tries to boss me about & control what I do
. The girl who's been recuperating from her op is now on the mend :j & thinks she's likely to be able to do some light duties within a couple of months & hopefully her presence will redress the balance & harmony. I am not going to say a word to anyone about the tension, I plan to just rise above it & get on with work & allotmenteering in my own sweet way
.
We then shot home, had lunch, threw some cakes together & then went to visit my dear Grandmother & took her out for gentle wander around the gardens where she lives. It did her good & she loved the cakes.
My ebay frenzy has come to an end with my final win being a raincoat for DD & I was feeling overly wealthy & just about to whack through a big CC payment when I realised that the payment for the window hadnt come out of my account
I made a payment of £100 to the Co Op CC which is now £500 & the total debt is now £4,300 .
I'm all goddessed & ready for action at work, 5 weeks until the ghastly project ends & I have a week off ... counting down the days now
I'm off to bed now, hope everyone has a good week ahead
night night

Hello lovely MSEers,
It's monday & I am happyI've completed jobs 1, 2 & 3 & also done my half hour of just dance on the wii - I will master Groove is in the heart, I will I will - if it takes me all year. DD has given up accompnaying me now as we like different tunes & she compalins that I do all the high energy dances, yes, that's the whole point
Work was fab today - really fab. I knew Goblin wouldnt be in this morning as they dont do monday mornings so I was just psyching myself up for the afternoon when Boss announced that she is on holiday this week :j:dance::j:dance::j.
My little heart just swelled with joy & relief & I might even offer to go in on friday & earn myself some overtime .
I had a shoe dilemma this morning as rain was forecast, & I've already worn the high black t bars & dont want to wea boots in summer ... but I eventually decided on the brown Faith heels with a strap & button. I'm thinking if it's raining again tomorrow then it will have to be the leopard print slingbacks or black & cream pumps as I really dont want wet toes.
Grumpy doesnt appear to have noticed my changing shoes, but at least I am wearing them all equally rather than just opting for the same ones each day. What's even better is that it's making me choose different clothes each day as well, so they too are getting equal wear
. I am determined to enjoy all my clothes but right now it's time for my pyjamas & my bed
night night

Yeh, dont get all envious though, they are H.I.D.E.O.U.S
I pranced into work in the leopard prints & Gropey was deep in discussion with another colleague & I heard him muttering "I'm not telling her, you do it" My immediate reaction was to think that I'd committed some hideous error & was about to be sacked .
Then Gropey handed me a catalogue & asked me to choose a pair of shoesfor about 2 seconds I was fooled & then I saw that it was a nasty uniforms & safety shoes catalgoue
.
Apparently, due to H&S laws, anyone who goes into the workshop area will have to be wearing steel toe caps due to some of the equipment there. I really thought he was joking so held out a leopard print clad foot & asked if I really looked like the kind of girl who wore nasty trainer/steel toe cap/rubber mule type footwear .
It's no joke, in my size the choices were either white wellies in a factory worker / fish gutter stylee or dealer boots. I tried to get him to buy me a megaphone instead so I can shout any instructions or questions to the guys, but he wouldnt go for it. I'm still working on the 'compensatory pair' to help me recover from the trauma
I'm already sourcing some gold wedges to ease the pain.
Other than that bombshell, work has been very busy & a bit stressy but a lot of fun too. Being the only female for the week means plenty of attention & I have certainly played up to it :rotfl:as Goblina will be back next week I've decide to make the most of it this week & will be going in tomorrow too. It really is no hassle when I know that I dont have to come home & do another 4 hours of home-job work.
I've had a run of 5 NSDs since last saturday but had to pop to the shops this evening to buy a fathers day card & ended up buying a new lip gloss in a gorgeous colour which I am really pleased with ( I rarely get it right with lipcolour in terms of what suits me & how different they are in daylight from how they appear in the shop) & a couple of magazines - one for DD & Marie Claire for me which came with 3 freebies - Cowshed shower gel - smells fab & will be perfect for stocking gift or weekend away- a Carte D'Or cappuccino sample & a Thierry Mugler perfume sample; only a squirt or two, but hey, it's free :T
Came home to discover the ebay raincoat for DD which is fab & thankfully she loves it, a load of Boots points to be redeemed against purchases & also my share of the co op profits which amounts to a pretty impressive £21 in vouchers :j. My remaining budget of £37 for the month is not quite so daunting now although I will still do my very best to keep to it.
I got paid for home-job today & have cash into the funds but as my brain is tired I wont even attempt to add up the totals today as DD needs £13 for a school trip & some new PE shorts so will have to deduct those expenses - all too much for this time of night.
Need to get to bed now so my brain is active tomorrow - I'm relly looking forward to the weekend & have no relatives to visit or nasty chores to complete other than the basics so might well get a lie in.
bye for now

At least they're paying for them however all is not lost.. the stilletoe safety shoe has yet to hit the market place but....
court shoes....naughty school girl shoes..... Dr Martens and even safety trainers.... none of which are overly pretty but anythings preferable to broken toes.
If DD needs PE shorts I have a huge pile of immaculate black ones in a variety of sizes and styles (all black) that I can post you. Our surplus uniform stash is ridiculous at the mo. We've had stuff end up unclaimed in lost property that parents haven't got round to taking the labels off or putting names in. Our lot are too stuck up and minted to buy second hand stuff so it all ends up being disposed of.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Bless you for even trying to find me some safety shoes Moo :A I really appreciate that, of all of them I prefer the Doc Martens but I know the boss wont be paying out £80 + for them so will just wait to see what turns up.
Thanks also for the offer of pe shorts, I would happily take up your offer but they have to have red ones so off to ebay I shall go.
The highly annoying guy who has so far conveniently been off work for the whole of 'Project Stress', returned this week & I've discovered that I really cant stand the man - something about him just makes my hackles rise whenever he comes into the room. He skives at any opportunity & will always try to shift the blame if he screws up , not at all how I operate.
Obviously I keep my not-very-nice-person feelings to myself but I do have a sense of doom about how things are going to pan out over the next few months as Gropey Boss has done a complete turn around & now put Highly-Annoying & myself together on a small project . Blood may well be spilt.
With only 5-6 weeks left to run on Project Stress I'm having to come to terms with losing my lovely mate & his gorgeous Johnny Depp-alike colleague who have been filling in while Highly-Annoying was off. We've got a really good rapport going now & I really am going to miss them. As well as getting the job done, we have a lot of laughs & fun.
So, what with that & the return of Goblin next week, I'm feeling very despondent about workI'm hoping that she will be much refreshed after a week's holiday & have decided to make sure I keep on the right side of her, dont need any more enemies.
Anwyay, the good news is that while I've been rabbiting on here, I've been outbid on a pair of shoes & subsequently lost them, saving me a total of £30.
We're running lown on food & so is the cat, but as he's rubbish at driving I'll be getting his food for him, cant remember if his comes out of the grocery budget, I'll be scuppered if it does as we need bread, eggs, milk, fruit, veg & meat.
Still too tired to do my sums so will catch up over the week end,
night night

 Just lost an entire post & have lost the will to retype it all so in brief, this is how the day panned out :
I didnt get my lie in as DD1 decided to text me on her way to work at 6.45 am.
I did get 3 loads of washing done but no othr chores so will have to complete it all tomorrow.
It's so chilly that the heating came on earlier
The cat now has food & more new toys that he probably wont play with.
We did a grocery shop, spent £36.35 so now have a mere £1.50 left in my purse & another 10 days to the next grocery payday. Fortunately, I do have those £21 worth of co op vouchers so will use those to top up on bread, milk & any other essentials but will be trying very hard to eke out supplies.
So tired & lethargic at the moment, work & school are sapping our energy at the moment & I'm intending on skiving off the allotment tomorrow to concentrate on getting laundry & chores done. Oh the joy :rotfl:.0 -
Crumbs,
a whole week since my last postI felt very bleurgh about returning to work & generally a bit of a moany cow so decide to keep my negativity to myself for while.
In short work has been rather grim; Goblin definitely has 'issues' with me & has organised a staff barbecue/party to celebrate the end of Project Stress & guess when ? Yes, the very week I'm off :rotfl:.
Highly Annoying has now taken to making snidey comments about my 'boyfriend' ( ie lovely helpful mate) to all & sundry  . The temptation to slap him / give him a good tongue lashing is almost overwhelming.
The result of all this is that I'm now going to take the last 2 weeks of the school holiday off & to hell with it. GrumpyBoss has again told me that they need me in on fridays, I told him to make me an offer then as I sure wasnt coming in for what they pay now ( still no sign of payrise although Gropey has reassured me it will happen) ... he then went very quiet .
I havent made any debt repayments this week as poor DD1 - who is now a determined saver & budgeteer- had £50 stolen from her purse while at work . This was for her travel & food shopping until payday so I had to whizz over & sub her & then her lovely BF turned up so I treated us all to pizza ( DD gets a hefty discount).
Fortunately, I did manage to put some cash into the funds first so now have £170 for trips & treats, £110 for DDs clubs etc & £45 towards future childcare costs.
The co op vouchers have been a life saver as fresh food was getting a bit sparse & we will now make it to payday :j. Not sure about fuel though as that's very low & it's Dad's birthday on monday so we're taking him out for a meal & I offered to drive so he can have a drink.
I'm only doing home-job on monday so wont earn much dollar but I do have a bit of extra to do over the weekend which will help & as it's payday on wednesday & DD will repay me what she borrowed, I just dont care.
I had a lovely day off yesterday & as DD had yet another dressing up day I got 3 loads of washing & ironing done & all the chores bar washing the floors so we are deep chilling this weekend. Will probably go for a bike ride later & spend a couple of hours at the allotment but other than that just pottering & not spending any money.

Hello again,
after some time spent wallowing, simmering, seething & pondering, I have finally emerged from the depths of gloom & apathy & am back on the debt busting track :j.
June has been the longest, toughest, most exhausting month & I am so glad it is almost over. Project Stress is in the final stages & it has been really really draining on everyone's energy, humour & enthusiasm.
Inspite of all the drama & aggro, I have enjoyed it & learned a lot. I have now been given a payrise :j- not huge, but a step in the right direction & with the assurance that it will be reviewed again in a few months time - & also offered a permanant contract. I usually get a bit edgy & feel a bit trapped when faced with a permanent contract & I havent yet signed it but I do feel that the company is a good place for me to be while DD is still young & reliant on me.
I have only done home-job on monday of this week & it has made me more determined than ever to cut my hours at then end of this year. 2 evenings a week is easily manageable in order to earn a bit of extra money, but 3 becomes a chore & due to the nature of the job, it actually affects 4 days of the week . Once the debt is cleared, it would be great to use that extra money to build up some savings before quitting altogether
I'm a bit behind with the £155 a week repayments what with meals out that cost over £40 & going over the food budget ( again) but have paid £171 this week so the total outstanding is now £4,100 made up of £400 on the co op CC & £3,700 on the virgin CC.
It's going down & I'm not using the cards which is what really counts.
All the money floods out of my account over the enxt coupdl of days so when it's all done, I'll be able to work out some more repayments.
bye for now
