My Visa Credit Card and Mastercard Credit card can be used at Pay at Pump so are they offline cards ?, or are Credit cards different from Debit cards in that way ?.

    All credit cards are offline.
Anything I post is my opinion, so from time to time I may be wrong. I try to provide answers based in fact, however I don't know everything, so (like all posters on MSE), take what I say with a pinch of salt.

Hi, I have an LTSB Visa Debit Card - card number starts with 4921. Anyway to find out if this card is offline or eletron?

It's not a CG - According to LTSB - They do not issue CG anymore.

Lloyds TSB do issue Cheque Guarantee Cards, as I have one dated 09/09. You have to request a Cheque Card, and it is subject to acceptance, and you also have to prove a need for the said card, once ordered, it is sent away to a separate department for approval, before being dispatched.

The Card number starts 4462, as for the difference in cards, I have no idea, all I know is, if you don't request you, you won't get one.

    Hi,

I have a green 2012 Lloyds debit card with my classic account and I have just opened a cash account for direct debits the card on this one is silver and starts with 4659 wher as the other one starts 4921

Not too impressed with the colours lol but can i assume that the green one is offline and the silver one online ?

I cant wait to get a new card but i suppose at the end of the day it does it job lol :T

Think you've got problems? I've got 3 of the horrible green ones. ;)
