Your own experience is very interesting. But would people vote for a potential male Prime Minister who was only 5'3 or a female Prime Minister who was only 4'6? Would they gain sufficient respect to even get as far as party leader?0 -
For many years it has always been the tallest candidate who has won the American Presidential elections.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

Actually it has been the one with the most blood connection to our royal family who have become US president.

Not sure, I don't know how tall Tony Blair is; but I just think of Napoleon and terrier dogs - small but vicious/determined0

Hmmm, George.....I am not obsessed with height, people come in all shapes and sizes! As I said in my original post, I am just so thankful that my daughters are lovely healthy girls and they both know that. But teenagers can be sensitive about things such as height and weight. I certainly was. I reached my adult height of approx 5' 9" when I was about 13 and I felt like a giant...it was awful. If my daughters, despite my protestations, feel a bit concerned about something then I will do my best to reassure them and will find out what information I can to help ease their concerns.:snow_grin"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow........":snow_grin0
