3 Bed Semi has estimated bill £686 from United Utilities

Recently purchased property in May and have been calculating water meter reading on spreadsheet. My average comes to 13 units per month (11+13+14+13)

Today i received estimated charges for the next 12 months as £686.03 (£54.20/month). we are couples living in a 3 bedroom property and both of them work 9-5. is this the correct charge from united utilities? previously i paid £18 for a rented flat with the same company.

It would appear that your annual consumption will be around 150 to 160 cubic meters and that will cost around £500.

Thanks Cardew, i checked with "Consumer Council for Water" calculator and comes up within your mentioned range. i will keep an eye with my DD payments and see how it goes.
