In IE:
Tools->Internet Options -> General -> Browsing History -> Delete0 -
Can I just nip in here with a Q about clearing your cache & cookies, if you do that will you lose all the saved passwords and direct access to the websites without faffing about with having to login?

Ta
Passwords - no (assuming you don't click the clear password button or have this option ticked in IE)
Direct access e.g. here - yes
I've experienced similar. Only sporadic mind.virgin_moneysaver wrote: »all the pages load really fast except facebook0 -

Wow no insults about FB. There was the BBC report on dodgy 3rd party applications stealing personal details and your friends personal details. FB said they have sorted this but who knows.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

Download CCleaner and try that.
You could also try cleaning your items in prefetch.
Are you using IE and which version?0 -

Which is why you shouldn't add any app to your FB page, unelss you are 100% sure you want / need the flexibility and it's safe.
So many idiots, just add anything that's offered of "friends" have, quizzes and all sorts of rot, really I find it hard to have sympathy for them.0
