Billie boy I think I’ve got small feet size 4
Yes, I'm sure size 4 is a child's size and I've just been out with the dog and mine are hi-tec, very comfy and waterproof.

Re walking sticks - these are great for saving the knees when going up and down hill, they help you balance too.

Sorry Trow, I have had to remove a discount code from your post as, for legal reasons, we are only allowed to post discount codes on the discount vouchers board. See here for more details.

I too have arthritis, and have trouble walking far, but I do have a go, as it is good to keep as mobile as possible. I have bought a pair of Hobo sandles for the summer from Stead & Simpsons .Cost £30.00 but are very comfy and feel like I am wearing hardly anything on my feet at all. Usually I get around with a pair of trainers, I long to wear my killer-heels of my thirties, but sadly it will never happen I now just window shop for shoes.
Still keep on walking as if you stop you may not get going again.I did a three hour trundle around Brugge last week end on cobbles no less.I knew I had done it the next day as my poor legs were killing me but I wasn't going to give in.
Most important thing I take is my stick as it keeps me balenced. I thought I could do without last december and walked about ten feet from my car on some grass and had a nasty fall and ended up in hospital .So now it's have stick will walk:D
