IF we ever had a meet, and a crowd of slightly geeky shortsighted eager MSE types met up, and in walked a living legend and a future God I think we might be a bit surprised.
I reckon that if all the regulars in this forum met up in a pub, everyone would sit quietly, be a bit awkward and generally stare at their drinks whilst being quite polite to each other.
Graham: "You think house prices going up is a good thing don't you Hamish?"
Hamish: "Erm, well, yeah, kind of. Each to their own though. I guess. I dunno."
Graham: "Yeah, I know what you mean. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme is it?"
**awkward pause**
Mewbie: "So, Chucky, erm... you have a BTL empire, right?"
Chucky: "Nah, not an empire. Just a couple of places. Probably lose money on them if I'm honest. Would be just my luck, you know?"
Mewbie: "Yeah. True mate, true."
**another awkward silence, Graham drops his pint (there's always one)**
Cleaver: "Brit, you said that house prices will drop 50% don't you?"
Brit: "Did I? I dunno. Guess I did yeah. Wouldn't force that view on anyone, just a personal opinion.
Cleaver: "Yeah, fair enough".
**everyone stares at their shoes, a bit embaressed**
**Ad waits in the rain outside after being banned by the landlord. Tries lots of disguises, none of them work, keeps getting thrown out**
**Broderick is slouched over the end of the bar, drunkenly slurring at the barmaid**0 -
The West Ham v Millwill scrap would be nothing.0

I wouldn't exactly describe the moment you flashed after ten minutes of meeting me as 'shy'.0 -

Well Cleaver looked quite shocked when I flashed him.0

In terms of getting to know one another, I believe the Arms has a thread where regulars can post their photographs up.
Any takers from this forum? I'd prefer to eat my own head, but there may be some out there that fancy it. How about you Graham? You have a large post count, it's only fair you go first.0 -
