Hi
i currently have the orange home max at my brothers house,
i switched my mobile away from orange a few weeks ago so he does not qualify for the discount anymore and told me to cancel it and he'll find is own provider.
i rang orange up to cancel the package and they told me im still in contract with them even though ive been with them for around 2 and half years,
they said when i upgraded my mobile i also signed on for a new broadband contract, which i knew nothing about and would have to pay £200 to cancel!!!
if i must stay with them my only option is to move it to my dads home,
he has an inactive landline, around 3 years since last used,
having read other stories, i would have to get BT to switch the line back on, thus me paying line rental to them, but the current orange deal includes line rental, so how do i go about that?
or do i have a good cause to argue about the enforced 18 month contract i didn't agree to or maybe its hidden?
i never recieved any new equipment for my broadband

UPDATE.
just got off the phone with them and it turns out in april,
1 of their asian cs rang me, i do remember the call too,
and told me i'd been paying £9 p/m too much for my home-max,
i insisted to her that i WAS getting the £9 discount, but she was adamant to knock me off the £9 so i just agreed to shut her up, she also said id also get a new livebox which never came.
now unknown to me, i also agreed to a new 18 month contact!!
conning c**ts.
swapped the service to my dads now that will hardly ever get used0
