Nice Contract Renewal Money Saver For Me
Thought I would share my little success story.
I am with O2 pay monthly and last week got a text from them saying I can upgrade as my contract is over, it was an 18 month one so had forgotten all about the dates.
Looked on their website for upgrades on phones as I usually get a new phone and sell it on Ebay, not much of interest on there but saw up to £150 credit if no new phone. I liked the idea of this as the most I have ever got for selling a mobile on Ebay was around this amount so cut out all the hassle completely and no listing and sales / Paypal fees etc.
I rang them up as their site only gave me £100 and the lovely helpful lady said it was fine I can get the £150, I asked about changing tariff as I wanted unlimited texts with hardly any minutes but this was capped at 1000 on lower tariffs.
The helpful lady excelled herself again saying I could get their lowest tariff at £20 a month add an unlimited text bolt on for £7.50 and jobs a good un!! That saved me £7.50 a month from my current tariff plus £150 credit.
All in all over my new 18 month contract I have just saved £285!!! Thought I would just post as I'm very happy with my money saving :money::D
