Right, well money from sale of the Big White Good has just been used to buy a massage book off Ebay. It's a whopper of a book which retails for £26.59 on Amazon, and which I bought for a mere £9.68.. Bargain! (That's good recycling, that is).
I've put 2lb back on this week, but I consider that good value considering the amount of pure and utter rubbish I shovelled down my cakehole last week. Another bargain! Please call me 'Pickle'

Also, I'm suffering from information overload: I don't know about you guys, but I'm sat here trying to login to various accounts and the number of login names, passwords etc. I'm supposed to be able to remember has now hit critical mass. I try to make life easier by making sure that it's something easy to remember, but in all seriousness I must not have literally dozens, and it's all got a bit out of hand. *Sigh*
The only useful thing I learned from an old boss was a useful way of storing passwords. It's perfectly secure assuming you don't tell anyone about it, but simplifies the process of remembering a lot!
Start off with a 'base' password that's complicated and then modify it slightly to fit the website/account that it's for. For example,
678Hello678Money (for MSE)
678Hello678Santa (for Santander)
and so on.
Obviously the more numbers you use and a mix of capital and non-capital letters makes it increasingly secure...
That way you just need to remember the 'base' and how many letters you've used from website names (keep it the same for each site)0 -

Got sidelined in to unsuspectingly contributing to a birthday present for a colleague today. Don't mean to sound mean or anything, but sometimes she can be a bit funny with me, so I probably wouldn't have my hand in my pocket too quickly (for others, I would happily contribute without question), but couldn't get out of it. Bah humbug!
Other than that, not a lot else. Work, work, disorganisation and not getting stuff done, work, need a new career, PANIC, waste my time off, go back to work then think 'argh, why didn't I do more with my time off?', work...;)Please call me 'Pickle'

OMG, ended up going for a quiet drink with a cousin who has come to stay over these parts from far away and said quiet drink turned out into a full-blown night out! She is a one-woman riot act and we ended up spending tons of cash. This is so not good: I'm now at the end of my spending money, am going to have to go out for birthday meal for person from work tomorrow (more £!), got a music lesson in the week (more more £!), am buying a book and  all the more. (It was just an average night out as well, but at least I got out, I guess - take the good with the bad).
Think I have sorely blown the finances this month. I mean, I had put myself on a fairly tight budget and now it has backfired spectacularly. And we have only just started October.
Need to go. Am baking a birthday cake for work colleague. And need to retrieve purse from cousin's house. Please call me 'Pickle'
