Bought expensive lunch and small bottle of Coke at work.
Got my new PIN from Absurd & Ludicrous, and it seems like a luxury being able to get into my bank account. Pity there's so little in it! :rotfl:
Other than that, there's little news. We had some guests down from Scotland for the weekend, which was lovely, and I worked both today and yesterday at time-and-a-half, which will help the coffers.
Oh, and one weird thing with Quidco: I got an e-mail saying that the A&L money I received ages ago has been validated. I guess it's too much to hope that they are going to pay me twice?! :cool:Please call me 'Pickle'

It does feel a bit like that sometimes! I'm so unimpressed that I'm actually considering closing my 3.2% ISA and moving the money into an account that pays considerably less just to get away from Santander!I guess it's too much to hope that they are going to pay me twice?!
Guessing it just tracked slowly/they've duplicated a tracking notification by mistake. Quidco are funny like that - sometimes I get notifications instantly, sometimes they never materialise. Don't really care as long as I get paid...0 -

Actually, I feel tres rubbish: while doing the reading I ate a few choc biscuits and drank some diet Coke as 'breakfast', and my tummy is in the middle of telling me how seriously unimpressed it is at my choice! :rotfl: I only have myself to blame, but ooooooh! Please call me 'Pickle'

We all deserve a good whinge every now and again: I have a thread dedicated to little else! :rotfl:
And let's face it, you have pretty good reason to whinge. I have much less. And really, really need to get on with economising, which I have not done for a disgusting length of time: the number of lunches I have bought out recently is OBSCENE! :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'
