Offical MoneySavingExpert insert...

Eon customers who login to their online account, sign up for the 10:10 campaign (pledging to reduce electricity use by 10% in 2010) can get a free power-saving gadgets for their TV or computer's peripherals (eg dvd player, printer), worth around £15 each.

TV PowerDown and Desktop PowerDown (15,000 of each are available) are designed to automatically switch off any peripherals when you turn your TV or Computer on and off, therefore saving money and reducing your carbon emmissions.
MSE update 3pm. The TV powerdowns appear to have gone already. It might be worth checking back later to see if any more are allocated. If not you can buy one for £10 (instead of £15). The computer powerdowns are still available at the monment.
10:10 is a climate change campaign aimed at getting individuals, companies and institutions to reduce their carbon footprint by 10% during 2010. For individuals it means trying to reduce your energy usage by 10% between 1 Jan 2010 to 31 Dec 2010. Your online Eon account will help you monitor your energy usage.

When you're signed up for the 10:10 campaign you'll be moved to paperless billing (if you're not already) and will get other emails from Eon with energy saving advice.

To get the unit login and select one or both from the Eon Webshop. They'll come up as £0.00 in your basket, then fill in your address details at the checkout.

The units are available to Residential (excluding StayWarm and WarmAssist Fixed customers) and Small/Medium Business customers (up to 20 sites).

Thanks Sabz for the top spot :)
