Virgin PAYG

Hello,
I've bought a Virgin PAYG sim card together with a new mobile
for £14.95 including £10 airtime at Carphone Warehouse.
Actually, I'm not interested in Virgin's PAYG but in the new phone
The phone is unlocked - so it was a good deal. At the moment I'm not
using my new Virgin sim card. In fact, I haven't even plugged the sim
card into the phone because I still have credit on my Orange PAYG
sim card.
Now, my question: How long will my £10 Virgin-airtime be valid?
(I haven't activated the sim card.)

I've just recently ordered two payg sims from o2 and on the sims it said they must be activated before july 2010.I would have a guess you have got a six month grace. Most networks reckon if you don't make a call in six months your number can be de-activated.Since you haven't even activated it yet i'm not to sure but would plump for six months.0

I 'think' with Virgin it's 12 months. I'm sure someone posted that a few weeks back...0

Thanks! And yepp, it's 365 days. I've emailed them on theteam@virginmobile.com
and here is the answer:Your £10 top up will remaing on the account until you choose to use it. The only time this will be removed is if the phone number is not used for 365 days.0
