This depends on what you want to sell. I personally never end items on Fridays or Saturdays at any time or Sundays until after 9pm. Sundays are good for DVDs, CDs, computer games etc.
Clothing goes well on Mondays to Thursday again after 9pm (unless the're something interesting on the telly).
Kids stuff goes well on Mondays to Thursday from around 11am to 2.30pm (when the kids are in school).DMP mutual support number 174Total debt now (April 10) £0! - total paid off £30,221 or 100%I'm now debt free after 6 years!!:jNon smoker since June 2006 :j0 -
I always list my auctions on Thurday's unless it's a cheap listing day, then you get 2 weekends in. I have just started listing BIN's on other days as well & my sales have been quite good. I sell mainly craft items, children's clothes, CD's, videos & books.2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please0

Excellent many thanks for your feedback. I will give it a go, managing to sell quite a bit but no fantastic profit yet. But at least I am putting my shopping habit to good use and getting my money back plus a bit extra!
Any more selling tips would be greatly received!0 -
Cheap listing days are often Thursdays anyway, which would usually be my preferred listing day. I avoid listing to finish between about 4:30-6:30 on weekdays. I think a lot of customers are travelling home from work about then.YvonneCrossland wrote:I always list my auctions on Thurday's unless it's a cheap listing day, then you get 2 weekends in.0 -

And for those who prefer doing BINs. Start them off at three days and then, before the last 12 hours, change it to 5 days, then 7, then 10. That way it keeps you higher up the listings. What goes around - comes around0

Thanks all for your replies - keep it coming!!0

It is best to vary it as sometimes you get set in your ways and might miss out by sticking to a day. I avoid sundays and saturdays. I do prefer thursdays and always sell just after 10pm .However I sometimes sell tuesdays at the same time and can do well. Every now and again I try different nights just incase demands have changed- sometimes I get a suprise and wednesdays etc can be good for a few weeks. So dont get stuck in a rut- although somedays seem better 9 and it can be expensive getting it wrong ) maybe try different days when cheap listings are on.0
