Still no HIP

~Sort of update ~
Got a call from EA on Monday, Vendor's solicitors had finally sent the paperwork to mine
EA still didn't have HIP
My survey got done this morning
So I am now playing the waiting game on that.
Called my solicitors today to check that they had received the paperwork from the Vendors solicitor and they had... they were waiting to hear back from council on search fees before writing to me.
I asked them if they had the HIP... and yes they do - a hardcopy - no link!
Can anyone fathom why there is a reluctance to share the HIP link? I presume there has to be one. So why is their solicitor not sharing it?!

The viewer/buyer is entitled to see the HIP if they ask.
The seller is entitled to charge a nominal fee if you want a hard copy to take away.
Your seller and EA are pushing their luck!0 -
You need to ring the estate agent and ask them what is there in house complaints procedure as you are not happy that you have been requesting the HIP for XX weeks. You could tell them that you will talk to the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) or the Ombudsman For Estate Agents (OAE) if you don't get a satisfactoy answer.
That should get them moving - don't forget this is one of the largest decisions and purchases of your life and you have to make sure that everything is right - maybe the HIP never got done and they are hoping to get away with it - DONT LET THEM.
STand up for yourself and your rights - you will kick yourself if the HIP would have picked up something that makes you regret buying in the future:dance:                 :dance:I am finally understanding what money can do for me!0
