Normally when you leave an ISP, your email account is terminated so if you try your original settings you will probably get errors.
Your O2 settings should go into your email program.
You will have to email all your contacts with your new O2 address.0 -
If you have your own domain, you can change ISP every week and keep the same e-mail address !
Only costs a few pounds a year.0 -
The old ISP address may work for a while, but you'll need to go into the account and change the outgoing mail server address to the O2 one. In other words, you can receive direct, but not send.
Get yourself a Googlemail email account and save all the hassle every time you change ISP.No free lunch, and no free laptop

........then the rubbish they send goes into the spam folder on the website and doesn't even make it to my email client.
Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!0 -

Off topic but...
Which O2 package have you taken? - I hope it was one of the LLU offerengs and not the O2 Access product. Plus I trust you went through one of the cashback sites - £50 Quidco and TopCashBack at the moment.0 -
