Sheila's Wheels along with Esure all actually come under the heading of Halifax or LLoyds Group now  but if they are providing cover at a good price then go for it! Best of luck with it and the house move. :D

Sheila's Wheels used to do car insurance for women only - hence the 'sheila'.

  • Esure comes under the Loyds banner now too! As they were Halifax/ BOS.
  • Evening - I went with Co-Op insurance for buildings and contents. No probs with the BR, and saved myself about 85 quid on my previous insurer.

good luck, and hope you get it sorted.

Hmmm, good to know about the Coop, I was wanting to go with them as they're my bank now, I think I'll call into my branch and try face to face as I really do not want to be a customer of Lloyds TSB, I know, I know it's daft to 'not like' a particular bank but, just but. I'm fed up to the back teeth of dealing with their cronies.

We went with Direct Line for our contents ins, told them about our BR status and they were fine about it, also checked out their terms & conditions to see if i could find the word 'bankruptcy' and it wasn't there.
A Very cheap premium of £71.40, including accidental damage, no excess, (apart from the 1st £25 of any accidental damage claim) up to £50,000 worth of contents. :j
