BT Mobile - Is it any good?
I am tempted by the current offer of £2.99 per month at CPW on the BT Mobile network - rmaining 6 months at £9.99 - and a free Sony Ericsson T610.
One or two questions:-
1. I am currently a TMobile user and believe that BT Mobile use their network - would I be able to port my number?
2. How do BT Mobile users rate them.
3. Is the handset any good?
Thanks in anticipation

Hi,
network seems very good, I always have a good clear signal.
t610 works fine, but scratches very easily.

I have recently got the deal from e2save (£4.99 for the whole 12 months) and have not noticed any change in network coverage (I was on Fresh - also using the T-mobile system).
The 1000 free minutes home was the real clincher (useful for quick calls as you are allowed 2 minutes at a time).
Also, I have found th eCustomer Services very good so far. Free calls to them via landlines or mobile & nice, cheery people from Northern Ireland I am guessing.
Voicemail does cost money though but I now try to answer the phone more (Bluetooth headset from CD-wow at £16.99 works a treat)0 -
I'm most impressed with the service, got the 12 month £4.99 deal from CPW and rate the free 2 min calls home, the 50 txt and 150 mins x network, SE t610 has been impressive too (haven't found it scratches and easier than any other phone).
Customer services can be a pain to get hold of(20 mins ish each time I have called) but at least the call is free so not too bad.
JPR,...If you are concerned about the cost of voicemail, get BT mobile to turn it off.

I've been on BT Mobile since August.
No problems with the service. Coverage seems to be good, no dropped calls.
I know someone who ported their o2 number to BTM. There was some downtime and a few initial minor problems which were resolved quite quickly.
I cannot coment on the T610. I decided to get the SE T630 (which I'm very happy with) from e2save.
I think I'm on the same call plan (150+) as john-306?
Hope this helps!

Ta for that - I'll ask them to do it.0 -
Grateful thanks to everyone who replied - I think that you have convinced me to go ahead, although the current deal does not look as good as some of those mentioned above.
Happy New Year to everyone!
